| All rules in the NYFL rule book are to include the starts division with some special adjustments for this level of play for the safety of the player, so he/she may have a positive experience. |

Starts

You Will Kickoff from the 50 yard line in this division.

A free kick will apply in this division. Once you have declared to kick the ball, you must kick. Players cannot cross the line of scrimmage.

There will be no rushing the punter. Once you have decided to punt the ball, you must punt. Fake punts are not allowed once you have declared to punt the ball.
- Coaches are only allowed on the field for the first 2 games after that they must be on sideline for the remainder of season (including playoffs).

Rookies

It is now FULL HIGH SCHOOL RULES for the rookies division. NO MORE FREE KICKS you can rush the punt as well as field goals.
